The Turner Sisters have been playing together as a family since 1998, adding Noemi to the group when she was the ripe old age of 15 months. Katie, the oldest at now 21 is a third year student in Music Education at Prairie Bible College in Three Hills, Alberta Canada and joins the girls when she is home on school breaks. Trinity (15) and Addie (13) play lead and harmonies, as well as sing with Noemi, now age 9. All three girls have added Irish Dance to their talents.
The girls have all done competitive fiddling at the state, regional and national level and have placed in the top five in their divisions at several events. Trinity, Addie and Noemi are Certified Old Time Fiddlers through the National Old Time Fiddle Contest. Noemi is the current Washington State Open Fiddle Champion for the Small Fry Division and recently won a prize in the Certified Division at the National Old Time Fiddle Contest in Weiser, ID. Noemi also won Best of Show in the 2008 Mini Masters.
The girls play a mix of Old Time, Bluegrass, Celtic, Gospel and Cowboy music and frequently tailor their program to fit and event. They have played for dinners, weddings, funerals, fairs, festivals and many varied events and venues.
